For clients who want it, Stephanie offers Christian, faith-integrated counseling: licensed, evidence-based therapy that makes room for your faith in the conversation. For clients who do not, faith is simply not part of the work.

What integration means, and what it does not
Faith-integrated counseling means your beliefs, practices and questions are welcome in the room. It does not mean replacing evidence-based therapy with advice, and it does not mean being told what to believe.
You decide how much faith is part of the work. Some clients want to talk openly about scripture, prayer and spiritual questions; others simply want a counselor who understands their world. Both are fine, and you can change your mind at any time.
Why Stephanie
Stephanie's work centers on integrating faith, psychology and evidence-based therapeutic practice. She serves on the boards of Better Days Family Ministry and Bayside Counseling Center, and has spoken at church and women's ministry conferences.
She is also a licensed counselor in Georgia (LPC) and California (LPCC) with a Ph.D. in Counseling, so faith-integrated care here is professional clinical care, held to the same standards as any other therapy.

- Renew is a virtual practice. All sessions take place by secure video through SimplePractice, for clients physically located in Georgia or California at the time of each session. There is no office for in-person appointments.

- 60 minutes.

- $200 for an individual session and $275 for a couples session. Renew does not accept insurance.

Do I have to be a Christian to see Stephanie?
No. Stephanie sees clients of any faith or none. Christian counseling is available for those who ask for it, and never assumed.
Will you tell me what to believe?
No. Integration means your faith is welcome, not that your beliefs are directed. The work is about your wellbeing, on your terms.
Is this the same as pastoral counseling?
No. Pastoral counseling is spiritual care offered by clergy. This is licensed mental health therapy that can include faith. If you also want pastoral support, therapy can work alongside what your church offers.
